Society today believes in exploitation & expansion, in term have forgotten to respect the mother earth & the nature. Human at culmination of his intellect has learned to conquer not only their beloveds but to exploit the region they belong to.
Kashmir valley today is a disputed region and of political interest. For decades it has been circled either by militants or the military force & to the world, we have tried our best to showcase this pain & suffering, in various forms & ways.
We notice that boom in tourism continues & people here continue to exploit this region to an extent today we see it is very soon going to be a concerete jungle. Is it what we are looking at?
Tourism attracts more & more people to visit this place for its own benefit. Thousands of yatris visit every year to get blessings from the shrines having least respect for this land.
Is this how we appriciate the beaty of land?
Once upon a time this land belonged to the great Rishi’s, and over time came to be known as the paradise on earth, today it shows pain, anger, hate, and suffering, but through the trail and tribulations, Mother nature has prevailed, and outlasted the pain.
This series of landscapes of Kashmir is an attempt to bring out this beauty which has remained, whether as the paradise on earth or a bowl of pain. Nature prevails and remains the one constant, we just have to learn to see.
